Summit Aviation, a Greenwich AeroGroup company, announced today that two of its Aircraft Maintenance Technicians recently completed Euravia Engineering’s training and certification program for Pratt & Whitney’s PT6 engines.

Bob Marsh and Scott Payne each received 40 hours of training which included MRT, flight line and heavy maintenance training activities. The training program encompasses classroom and on the job training for all aspects of the required syllabus. In addition, detailed testing and examination is performed before the trainees receive their training certificates.

Euravia Engineering and Greenwich AeroGroup entered into a partnership agreement in 2013 to provide Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) services for Pratt & Whitney’s PT6A and PT6T engines on fixed and rotor wing aircraft in the United States.

The training took place at Euravia Engineering’s facility in Kelbrook, England.
