Summit Aviation, a Greenwich AeroGroup company, announced today that it has been awarded AS9110B Quality Management Standards certification.
The internationally recognized AS9110 Standard focuses on Maintenance, Repair and Overhaul (MRO) services and is a derivative of the AS9100 Standard that addresses the aviation industry. Additionally, Summit holds ISO 9001:2008 certification which confirms that the organization follows internationally recognized quality management principles.
“This accreditation shows our commitment to a strong foundation of systems and procedures that ensure quality service to our customers each and every day,” said Vice President and General Manager of Summit Aviation Ralph Kunz. “AS9110 is the highest certification standard achieved for MRO facilities and we give credit to our team that has worked diligently to accomplish this milestone.”
Summit Aviation provides MRO services for fixed and rotor wing operators and is also a heavy provider of modification and specialized mission services for many government entities.
