Greenwich AeroGroup Inc., announced today that Glenn MacDonald was appointed President of Professional Aviation Associates, effective July 12, 2010.
“Glenn is a proven leader and veteran in the aviation industry,” said Greenwich AeroGroup’s Senior Vice President of Parts Distribution Warren Persavich. “His extensive aviation knowledge combined with his strong business acumen and leadership skills will help Professional Aviation, create extraordinary value for our customers and shareholders.”
MacDonald began his career in aviation at Pegasus Helicopters and over the last 34 years has held various posts in the industry including chief executive officer, president, vice president and chief pilot for various aviation entities throughout North America. He possesses an extensive background in aviation sales and marketing, aviation management, aviation maintenance and has accumulated 14,000 flight hours in a wide range of helicopters.
Prior to joining Professional Aviation Associates, MacDonald held the position of Head of Helicopter Training Solutions with CAE in Montreal, Quebec.
In his new role, MacDonald will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Professional Aviation Associates, a comprehensive rotable exchange program for corporate aircraft. Professional is the largest, independent, worldwide supplier for the Beechcraft King Air series, Beech 1900, Beechjet parts and accessories.
