Greenwich AeroGroup announced today that it has restructured the leadership for its distribution businesses to better orchestrate synergies among the various company’s products, capabilities and customers.
Greenwich’s AeroGroup’s distribution division currently consists of seven companies that provide avionics, parts distribution and component repair and overhaul (CR&O) services for general aviation and business aircraft, regional and commercial aircraft and government and military aircraft.
“We have seen tremendous growth over the last few years in our distribution and CR&O business worldwide,” said President and CEO of Greenwich AeroGroup Jim Ziegler. “We believe our new structure will allow us to continue this trend while enhancing relationships with OEM’s, service providers and our customers.”
The management restructure includes the promotion of Frank Cowle, President of Aero Precision Industries, to Senior Vice President of Distribution responsible for DAC International, NASAM, GCCUS and Aero Precision. Cowle has more than 30 years of experience in the military aircraft sector. Prior to joining Aero Precision in 2008, he held senior management positions at Derco Aerospace, Pattonair and Safair (Pty), Ltd.
Additionally, David Miller has joined the team and has been appointed as the new President for Professional Aircraft Accessories and Senior Vice President of CR&O and Distribution for Greenwich AeroGroup. Miller’s responsibilities include Professional Aircraft Accessories, Professional Aviation Associates and Matrix Aviation.
Prior to joining Professional Aircraft Accessories and Greenwich AeroGroup, Miller served in several senior leadership positions with companies such as AeroTurbine, XOJET, NetJets, L-3 and GE.
“I am extremely pleased to have Frank and David providing the leadership for our distribution businesses,” said Ziegler. “I believe their combined guidance and vision will assist us in meeting the goals we have established for this division of our company.”
