Western Aircraft, a Greenwich AeroGroup company, announced today that Falcon 2000EX business jet operators with the Rockwell Collins Proline 4TM cockpit avionics can now have Wi-Fi installed at the Boise, Idaho facility as well as Atlantic Aero in Greensboro, N.C.
Western Aircraft completed the Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) in February. The upgrade brings Wi-Fi to the Falcon 2000EX using the Aircell CTR router. The Wi-Fi STC provides wireless Internet access in the cabin, just like you'd find at home or other Wi-Fi hotspots. This means, a user can wirelessly surf the full Internet, send and receive email with attachments and download files while using your laptop, tablet or other mobile device.
Western’s Wi-Fi STC works with both Aircell and Thrane & Thrane Broadband solutions.
